A Quick Job

A Quick Job

Just another quick post to remind you that you should be constantly clearing the leaves and debris from Autumn from your lawn. Do not make the mistake of thinking that leaves and other biodegradable "rubbish" will make good compost and feed your lawn. They can make good compost, but only in your compost heap. On your lawn they WILL cause problems, they can cover the actual grass and restrict it's growth, attract disease and harbour weeds and produce too much nitrogen (as they rot) which in turn harms the grass, (similar to dog urine damage) - so just gently brush or rake the lawn to remove any rubbish.

That's it, just a little reminder to keep on looking after your lawn. A little regular work will save a lot of trouble and effort later.
